This motorcycle arrived with us as pictured above. meanwhile we have already had a lot of work to get this motorcycle back on the road.
The work that we did is:
Engine:
- Engine block disassembled.
- All parts cleaned.
- All parts checked for wear.
- Replaced the oil pump and adjusted the new one so that it is the same as the old one.
- Cylinder drilled and faces for set pistons.
Gearbox:
- Gearbox disassembled.
- Everything has been ultrasonically cleaned.
- Gears checked for damage or wear.
- Gearbox checked for function.
- Replace output shaft for secondary transmission with the counter gear.
frame:
- Checked that the frame is straight.
- replace swingarm rubber bushings
- Have footrest plates cut.
electrical:
- Have Magdyno rewound and replace the original magnets with stronger magnets because of no spark during kickstart. This is an weak point of these magdynos.
- Complete wiring harness made.
- Headlight mounted and connected.
- Taillight including brake light mounted in our Red Hand Classics license plate holder and connected.
- Amp meter connected in the headlight.
- New dashboard mounted and the gauges and buttons mounted in it.
Paint parts:
- Dashboard sprayed.
Fuel supply:
- Have the carburettor overhauled.
- Custom made throttle cable.
- Custom made choke cable.
- Fuel tank derusted and treated with anti-rust oil.
Oil supply:
Service:
- Throttle lever cleaned and lubricated.
- Throttle lever made working.
- Custom made clutch cable.
- Custom made throttle cable.
- Custom made choke cable.
- Custom made brake cables.
Wheels / brakes:
- Wheels checked for runout.
- Brake drums cleaned and moving parts re-greased for smooth operation.
- Brake lining checked on brake shoes.
- Front brake drum adapted for operation with coupled brakes.
- Brake rod made according to drawing.
- Brake cable holder at footrest made according to drawing.
